Today, we want to celebrate the incredible journey of one of our students, Eli Patten.
At just 14 years old, Eli has already made remarkable strides in the world of Racing, and we're excited to share his inspiring story.
A dedicated Kart Racer...
When Eli first joined us, he was a dedicated kart racer with a burning desire to take his skills to the next level. What sets Eli apart is not just his determination, but his willingness to learn and adapt.
Starting out, he had never driven a car with a manual gearbox – a fundamental skill required in high-performance Racing.
Our Race Team, Anglo Australian Motorsport recognised Eli's potential and began working closely with him. Through detailed discussion, demonstration and numerous test days, we witnessed his incredible dedication and enthusiasm. The transition from Karting to Formula Ford is no small feat, and Eli is tackling it head-on.
Eli's Growth...
Fast forward to today, and Eli has not only mastered the art of operating a manual gearbox - rev matching on his downshifts but has also demonstrated significant improvement in his driving skills.
His dedication to learning, coupled with the expert guidance of our Instructors, has led him to this remarkable point.
Eli's growth showcases the benefits of working with Anglo Australian Motorsport – a commitment to excellence, personalised training, and a nurturing environment that fosters progress.
