Brendan Fisher's Remarkable Racing Journey

Brendan Fisher's journey from being a Stage 1 Driving Experience participant to a Championship Race-winning Driver is nothing short of inspiring.

With dedication, skill, and the support of our Race Team Anglo Australian Motorsport, Brendan has navigated every stage of his Racing career with determination and passion.

 

Early Beginnings and Introduction

Brendan's journey began with an introductory - Stage 1 Driving Experience, where he first got behind the wheel of a Formula Ford race car. Unlike many other competitive driver's, Brendan did not start out in Karting.

"The Stage 1 experience was eye-opening," Brendan recalls. "It ignited my passion for racing and gave me a glimpse into what it takes to compete at a professional level."

 

 

Progressing Through Our Driver Stages

As Brendan honed his skills, he progressed through Stage 2 and Stage 3 Driving Experiences, each presenting new challenges and opportunities to improve. "The stages built upon each other," Brendan explains. "From learning the basics to mastering more advanced techniques such as rev matching my downshifts, I felt myself growing as a driver with every session."

 

Guidance and Mentorship

Throughout his journey, Brendan received invaluable guidance and mentorship from the team at Anglo Australian Motorsport. "The support from the team, especially during test days at Victoria's Wodonga TAFE and Winton Raceway, was crucial," Brendan emphasises. "Their expertise helped me understand the nuances of track dynamics and fine-tune my racing strategy."

 

 

Championship Round Triumph

Brendan's hard work paid off when he obtained his Motorsport Australia License and entered his first Championship Race at Sydney Motorsport Park's GP Circuit. "It was a defining moment," Brendan reflects. "To finish 1st in Race 1, 2nd in Race 2, 1st in Race 3 and clinch 1st overall in the Formula Ford 1600 (Kent) category was surreal. It validated all the effort and dedication I had put into my Racing journey."

 

Looking Ahead

As Brendan continues to pursue his Racing ambitions with Anglo Australian Motorsport, he remains grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have shaped his journey thus far. "The journey isn't over," Brendan states confidently. "I'm eager to continue improving, learning, and chasing new goals in the world of Motorsport." Brendan's next challenge will at Morgan Park Raceway in QLD, competing against National Championship level Drivers!
